My manner of making decisions is one of silent introspection. I feel like I am unable to make a good decision unless I have had time to sit down, by myself, and turn it over in my mind. I most often due this while laying in bed before I go to sleep. I guess instead of "sleeping on it," I "pre-sleep on it."

The image that best describes this process, for me, is the act of listening to a new album. I've always thought the best way to take in a new album is by laying on the floor, by oneself, with no other worries or interruptions to disturb you - concentrating solely on what you are hearing.
